When raising children in a home, it is important to teach them that there are different types of friends they can have.  Bad friends will be destructive and good friends will encourage you in the Lord.  This series will cover the characteristics to look for and avoid when choosing a friend. 

It is getting commonplace for employers to voice their discouragement in work ethics concerning the younger generations.  This series will cover proper work ethics God desires us to have at work, and the work ethics we should be teaching and instilling in our children. 

Marriage is sacred to God and should be sacred to us.  Conflict will arise in our marriage, but this is due to our own pride and selfishness.  This series will bring about the characteristics both men and women should have within the marriage covenant.

This world is teaching our children to follow their heart.  Well, our hearts are deceiving and desperately wicked.  We have an emotionally based society that gets offended with anything and everything.  Most children are not being taught the skills of responding to conflict.  This series will cover both the good and evil ways to respond to conflict along with the consequences of those responses.  

I have yet to meet a parent that wanted to fail their children.  The problem is not the desire of the parents, the problem lies in the understanding and capabilities  to parent with skill.  This series will being forth the proper skills a parent should have while training their children.

The topics of wise living covered in Proverbs are many.   Have you set your children up to be successful when they move from your home?  Are they prepared for the evils that await them?  Do they know how to respond to the problems and heartaches they will face?  All this is the responsibility of the parents, expounded upon by a pastor, in the company of a Loving Church.
