I was born and raised in Superior, WI.  I had trusted the Lord as my Saviour when I was a young child.  In 1998 we had moved to Brainerd, MN where I was able to graduate from Brainerd High School.  Immediately after graduation I had joined the Navy Seabees.  In the Seabees I was blessed to be able to travel and live in various parts of the world.  Some of these places include Sasebo, Japan; Rota, Spain; Diego Garcia; Kosovo; Albania; and Ventura, CA.  To be honest, I was not living for the Lord while I was serving as a Seabee, but God still used my time in the military to develop a love for the United States and the freedoms our flag stands for.  God also used this time to develop an understanding of the need of missions in other countries.  People need the LORD. 

       Soon after being honorably discharged from the Navy (2003) my mother asked me to attend an Easter Service at Deerwood Baptist Church (2004).  It was here that the Lord got ahold of my heart and I recognized that my sinful lifestyle was destroying more than just myself.  I was destroying those around me.  But more than that, I was sinning against a Holy God.  After the service, I ran out to my car, grabbed the steering wheel, and cried out, "I'm sorry God!" It is  important to know that I trusted in Jesus Christ while I was a child, so I could not lose my salvation.  Crying out to God this time was renewing my relationship with God as a child does a father.  

        In 2007, God had blessed me with an amazing wife named Brittany.  We currently have six wonderful children.  About a year after marriage, we felt that the Lord was leading us to attend Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City.  It was at this college that I was able to complete their four year pastoral program.  After four years, we moved back to Brainerd where I continued my studies online through Luther Rice Seminary.  In 2014, I had completed my Masters in Apologetics with the main focus being "the problem of evil."  In 2014, God allowed me to become a Chaplain to the Brainerd Police Department.  I have also been blessed to be able to assist the Crosby PD and the Cass County Sheriff's Office.  We love our Law Enforcement and pray for them daily.
