Pastor Phillip Ramsdell trusted Christ as his personal Savior at a young age when he lived in Superior, Wisconsin.  He later moved to Brainerd, MN and graduated in 1998 from Brainerd High School.  Immediately after High School, Pastor Phillip joined the United States Navy Seabees and served our country for five years.  He was honorably discharged in 2003 and moved back to Brainerd, MN.  He married Brittany in 2007 and they now have 8 children together.  Pastor Phillip graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible College with a pastoral degree and continued his graduate studies in Apologetics through Luther Rice Seminary where he earned his Master’s in Apologetics.  In 2022 he began the work of starting Victory Baptist Church in Brainerd, MN.  During all this, he served as a volunteer Chaplain for the Brainerd Police Department.  Now Pastor Phillip serves with the Sheriff’s Office and serves directly as a Chaplain with our Correction Officers and their families.  He also serves our community by being on call for crisis response within our community for both the community and first responders.
